Student Night

2012 Science & Engineering Fair Winner Displays

On exhibit will be many of the displays selected by ASM judges as Best in Class for junior and senior level high school science and engineering projects from three local fairs held in March. The fairs include York County Fair, Capital Area Fair and the Lancaster Area Fair. Come out and see the outstanding work these young, talented students have been doing and talk with them about their projects, their findings and their future.

Science Fair Winner Presentations
Our South Central PA chapter supports local science fairs in our community.   Our experts evaluate and award prizes to students with outstanding science fair projects in the field of Materials Science and Engineering.    The fairs are held in early March.    The awardees are provided with monetary awards, complimentary Student Memberships to ASM International, and are invited with their families to display and discuss their exhibits at our April meeting.

The awardees always have much to discuss about their project, going well beyond what could fit onto their display boards!
